Despatch & Delivery
We make every effort to despatch all orders a quickly as possible. Most orders palced before 4pm UK time Monday-Friday will be despatched the same day. During busier periods it may take 1-2 days to despatch your order. After despatch, your order should arrive within 2-5 business days for UK orders and within 7-10 business days for international orders. During peak trading periods delivery times may take slightly longer.

Returns & Replacements
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase so where possible we will do all we can to accomodate your wishes. Products can be accepted for return if they are un-opened, un-used and sealed in their original packaging. To comply with hygiene regulations we cannot accept products that have been opened or used as returns.

If you've ever shaken hands with a sheep shearer you'll have noticed how soft their skin is. Lanolin, a natural water-proofing found in sheep's wool, is an uber powerful lubricant that has been used for centuries to hydrate and protect the skin. In 1893, Bradford based Pharmacist Fred Mitchell formulated a shaving soap rich in Lanolin to give a close shave with added protection and an incredibly thick lather.

Not so hard . .

After hearing that Mitchell's can be a bit difficult to lather with hard water I decided to give it a try regardless. Using the puck to load my brush(es) and then building the lather in a bowl it was no trouble at all. Lovely smooth lather, nice natural smell and a great shave. Give it a try.

Shaving one's face with a blade which has only a few molecules of stainless steel at its edge is a potentially lethal pastime..! So; to mitigate any risk of re-enacting the Battle of Culloden, one needs a top quality Shaving Soap. Mitchell's Wool Fat is the world's best answer to wet shaving. Straight, double or multiple edged is your choice but, believe me, Mitchell's Wool Fat is the ONLY choice of Shaving Soap. Shave per pound (£) it is the most economical soap but that is only one facet since the effect of the Lanolin is to render even my craggy old chops like unto a baby's cheeks! Don't faff; buy some and prove it. You deserve the best, so buy it...
