Eye Contact Eau de Parfum by Discothèque.

Discothèque Eye Contact Eau de Parfum is set in London, 1985, a city alive after dark, where velvet ropes part and music pulses through hidden doorways. Inside a black box club washed in crimson light, she stands framed by infinite mirrors, silhouette multiplied, impossible to ignore. Leather and gin cling to her glistening skin. A key on a chain rests against her collarbone. Her gaze locks, and eyes can’t look away.

The fragrance opens with a flash of pink pepper and a veil of saffron, bright and electric as the moment she steps into the room. At its heart, supple leather and soft cashmere wrap close to the body, heightened by the heat of black pepper, intimate, tactile, magnetic. The base deepens into oud, black amber, and musk, a bath of glowing warmth that lingers like a saffron haze, as if she has stepped from the subconscious into the strobe-lit night.

Eye Contact moves with her; it's bold, knowing, unforgettable, a presence that leaves a trace long after the lights come up.

The perfume arrived in good time, but given the small size and high price of the item, I'd have hoped that the box would at least be intact, to make it look worth the money. In fact the cardboard sleeve had come undone at the join. It is a Christmas present, so I have had a fiddly job of trying to glue it together. Kind of takes the gloss off the experience, if you know what I mean.
